Absurdance’ is a suspicious package mirroring the world, light as a joke and bitter as a rumor. The faux-metal box encloses a twisted cutout of free-standing print representing a dog chasing its tail. The Silver Hound - a term with historical roots in the ancient Greek philosophical sect of Cynicism, which adheres to the concept that the purpose of life is to live a life of Virtue in agreement with Nature. As if it was laughing, the animal bites its tail, hard. It stands like a trophy, celebrating the perpetual nature of human condition in all its mystery and absurdity.

Built as a modular, carry-on sized object, this theatre de l’absurde reflects upon the conformity of an uniformed world. But when even the comfort of escape and divergence from a life cycle are part of this predictable pattern - what’s left but dancing the Absurdance with dignity?
