The focus of this project shifts from the introspective and self-contained nature of the artist’s book to the synaptic interconnectivity between them within the installation. Each book opens with a verse from the poem ‘Raskovnik’ by a Serbian neo-symbolist poet Branko Miljković (1934-1961) and it reads as Open the Stone which hasn’t mentioned the Stars to its own Darkness. InterdepenAnce was produced during the Book Artist Residency at the Center for Book Arts in New York in 2019.
